Initially started to provide residential housing in the
Louisville area, today Dreams with Wings has grown to
support over 320 individuals in 11 residential homes, and four apartment buildings. In addition, Dreams With Wings
offers an Adult Day Program, Supported Employment,
Summer Camp Programs, Behavior Supports, Teen and Young Adult Education, Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapies. We are located in the heart of the Highlands in Louisville, Kentucky and led by our Executive Director, Jenifer Frommeyer.

Dreams With Wings was started in the year 2000 by a group of individuals who wanted to improve the quality of services, programs, and community inclusion for children and adults with intellectual and developmental challenges including autism.

Jenifer Frommeyer has a background in providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and is the mother of a son with Down syndrome. A graduate of Bellarmine’s Masters program in Education, Ms. Frommeyer has worked in the special needs field for over 20 years. As an active member of provider coalitions, Ms. Frommeyer advocates regularly for members of the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities community. She also encourages those individuals to advocate for themselves by educating them on important issues. Dreams With Wings operates with a dedicated Board of Directors and staff.
